I practice trademark, unfair competition and copyright law, with a particular emphasis on trademark clearance and prosecution, administrative litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and domain name dispute resolution before various arbitration forums. My experience prior to joining MWZB in August 2001 includes a tenure of four years at an intellectual property boutique in Washington, DC and three years as as a Trademark Examining Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1984 and Catholic University's Columbus School of Law in 1991, and am a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and Virginia and the International Trademark Association. When outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and sharing with (or imposing upon) my three kids my passion for music and baseball.
