Mr. Traverso specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the chemical arts with over 15 years combined experience in corporate and private practice. While in private practice, he has provided services in all aspects of patent law including interferences, litigation, licensing and preparing opinions relating to infringement, validity and patentability. Mr. Traverso was Vice-President of the Eastern New York Patent Law Association and is a member of the New York Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He has a B.A. in Chemistry from S.U.N.Y. at Stonybrook and he received his law degree from St. JohnÕs University. He was a patent attorney for General Electric Co. working at the Corporate Research Center in New York and the Plastics Business Group in Pittsfield, MA prior to joining the firm in 1990. In addition to being a registered patent attorney and admitted before the Federal Circuit, he is admitted to practice in Virginia, New York and the District of Columbia.
