Our office is in Arlington, Virginia, just minutes from Georgetown and Downtown, Washington, DC, and a short drive or subway (METRO) ride to the new USPTO campus in Alexandria. Our building sits, literally, on top of the Courthouse Metro stop, providing easy access to all of the Washington, DC, metro area. George Mason University Law School, which has a prestigious patent law program of which several of us are involved in teaching and/or are alumni of, is located just blocks away.

Our offices are quite utilitarian but our 14th floor location on a high piece of ground does offer stunning views of the city and its monuments. When we re-located here in 1988, the immediate area was hardly exciting but it has grown fantastically as part of Metro's Orange Line corridor and a large variety of shops and restaurants are now footsteps away.

Take Orange Line to "Courthouse" stop in Arlington. (Exit via Metro elevator to street level.) Take elevator in Courthouse Plaza I (2200 Clarendon Blvd.) to 14th Floor.

FROM DULLES
Take taxi or bus to the West Falls Church Metro stop. Then see "VIA METRO"

FROM NATIONAL AIRPORT
Take Blue Line to Rosslyn stop. Transfer to Orange Line in the direction of Vienna. Then see "VIA METRO."

(From Beltway) Take Glebe Road and Fairfax Drive Exit. This will put you on Fairfax Drive in the direction you should be going. Stay on Fairfax Drive. Be sure to be in left lane when Fairfax Drive begins to curve to the right. This will bring you to the intersection of Wilson Blvd. and Fairfax Dr. Take a left onto Wilson Blvd. for a couple of blocks until it runs into Clarendon Blvd. (one-way East). Continue to 2200 Clarendon Blvd. The public parking entrance is on the right.

VIA I-395 (going North)
Take Washington Blvd. (Exit 8A) (Route 27) Exit. Stay in left lane to Clarendon Exit. Turn Right at Pershing Avenue (next light) then left at Barton St. Go five or six blocks to light at Clarendon Blvd. and turn right. Turn right at the Public parking entrance to Arlington Courthouse Plaza I (2200 Clarendon Blvd.)

FROM NEARBY MARYLAND OR DC:
From the College Park area take Highway 1 which turns into Rhode Island Avenue. Cross North Capitol Street and make a left turn South (still on Highway 1) on 6th Street N.W. to Constitution Avenue.

Turn right on Constitution Avenue (West) which becomes Highway 50 which merges with Interstate 66 at the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Once over the bridge, stay on Highway 50 to the Courthouse Road Exit (about a half mile or so).

Proceed North on Courthouse Road for a few blocks. Arlington Courthouse Plaza will be on your left at the top of the hill. Continue going North across Clarendon Blvd. Turn left on Wilson Blvd. (the next street).

Go past a large white building with dark windows and immediately turn left and immediately left again onto Clarendon Blvd. The public parking entrance to Arlington Courthouse Plaza I (2200 Clarendon Blvd.) is on your right.
